Apple Opens Hebbal Store in Bengaluru, Focuses on Security and Community for iOS Users

Apple has launched its third retail store in India, located in Hebbal, Bengaluru, as part of its growing footprint in the country. Wendy Beckman, Apple’s Vice President of Retail, highlighted that the store is designed to help new users transition to iOS securely and confidently. “We want every customer switching to iOS to feel safe and supported,” Beckman said during the launch event.

The Hebbal store precedes Apple’s upcoming Pune location and reflects India’s rising importance in Apple’s global strategy. The store is not just a point of sale but a hub for learning and creativity. With initiatives like Today at Apple sessions, the Genius Bar, and hands-on support from trained specialists, customers can explore Apple products and receive personalized guidance.
A major highlight of the store is the demonstration of Apple’s Continuity ecosystem, allowing users to experience seamless integration across devices. Beckman noted that in-store interactions provide a richer, more immersive experience compared to online shopping, allowing users to see how Apple products complement each other in real life.
The Hebbal store also serves as a community space, hosting free workshops on photography, music, coding, and other creative pursuits. The store’s team consists of 70 employees from 15 states across India, and the store operates entirely on renewable energy, maintaining Apple’s commitment to sustainability.
Looking forward, Apple aims to expand to more Indian cities while continuing to support both new and existing iOS users. Beckman emphasized that the company’s strategy is focused on customer acquisition and retention, ensuring long-term engagement with the Apple ecosystem.
